GARY PEROY – Managing Director

Gary Peroy has over 19 years experience including several years with Coopers & Lybrand, Sydney (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in the Taxation Division before taking on a major role at Peroys.

His experience also includes serving as a member of the Board of several charity and community organisations. Previously, Gary was a Director of the Australian Subsidiary of a major Indian publicly listed company, Nagarjuna Agrichem Australia Limited. Gary was also previously a non-executive director of Derwent Howard Pty Limited (the second fastest growing company in Australia’s BRW Top 100 in 2005 ) – a major magazine publisher with over $30 million turnover at that time as well as numerous non-executive financial advisory roles to fast emerging companies.

With significant experience in transactional services and corporate advisory including expert reports, valuations, due diligence and commercial negotiations, Gary has also acted as a permanent adviser and non executive director to many clients.

He has obtained an understanding of the requirements of medium sized enterprises and fast growth companies with industry experience in media and entertainment, food wholesaling and financial services.

James has been working at Peroys for over 15 years in his capacity as the Firm’s personal and individual tax expert and as a Business Services Manager where he has undertaken engagements for a wide range of clients operating in various industries particularly entertainment, the building and taxi industry. He was also appointed to the Peroys Board of Directors’ in July 2001 and is currently working as a part time consultant partner to the firm.  

James specialises in personal taxation and small business including taxation of entertainers, taxi industry and building clients and has worked on numerous major engagements.



Chris has experience working with clients across a range of business advisory and taxation issues. Chris consults with his client base to conduct business performance and taxation reviews as well as cash flow and financial projection assignments.

Known for being a highly competent and responsive accountant who takes the time to properly understand his clients' individual needs, Chris is known for building and maintaining strong relationships with his portofolio of clients which he sees as one of the most important aspects in dealing with ones financial affairs.

 Chris specialises in servicing clients running a variety of businesses and understands the different dynamics in which they operate, which enables him to provide advice on effective solutions for clients.
